Committee Wrap-Up Update

I figured the rest of you would like to know what we discussed at the committee wrap-up this year.
We decided that we would keep the relay in the upper parking lot again next year. We all felt that it created a stronger feeling of community. We believed that everyone was more involved since we were closer together.
We voted to change the relay times to 6pm - 6pm instead of 4pm - to 4pm. We decided to do this because we want more people to be involved Sunday. Set up will be from 4-6 on Saturday. The opening ceremony will be at 6pm. And, the survivor lap and ceremony will be at 1pm on Sunday.
We came up with possible themes that will be voted on at the relay wrap-up. For more information, see my previous post.
We decided that the display of the HOPE luminaria will need to be changed in 2008 since many people said they could not see it.
Finally, we discussed what we would do if you could not get the survivor and auction tents donated next year. We discussed the possibility of selling a monthly raffle ticket.
